This past weekend, we had the pleasure of working in Santa Barbara for Laura & Ray's big day! I first met with Laura and her Mate of Honor Adam , last year in November to go over ideas for her July 5th wedding in Santa Barbara. I instantly connected with Laura & what is normally an hour long consultation, turned into a good two hour consult, with the latter part consisting of talking about how she and Ray met in Australia. (Ray is a native Australian) Fate definitely played a part in these two meeting, it was Laura's last night in Australia, and by chance, this was the night she would meet the man she would marry! Needless to say, she ended up staying in Australia longer, and they spent the rest of those moments glued to each others sides. If that doesn't put a huge smile on your face, I don't know what would!!
The wedding was filled with personal touches from antique globes & escort cards beautifully calligraphed on travel inspired stationary, to the personalized confetti poppers used to congratulate the newly married couple as they began the recessional. Live music played throughout the ceremony as well as the reception, and the bride's adorable pup Tigre doubled as her flower girl!!
I can't say enough about how much we loved working at The Biltmore in Santa Barbara. The resort is set among lush gardens with the Santa Ynez Mountains and Pacific Ocean on both sides. It was the perfect setting for Laura & Ray's classy upscale wedding, and we enjoyed every minute of it! The staff and vendors were such a pleasure to work with, it was a definitely a superb set of working professionals. We hope you enjoy these images of what we created!
